Internships with the Maternal Health Initiative

The Maternal Health Initiative (MHI) is seeking a paid hybrid summer intern to contribute to the Dot-Mom column of the award-winning blog, New Security Beat; network with leading experts in the maternal health, reproductive health, and gender equity fields; and work closely with the friendly, dynamic MHI team to develop communications and programmatic skills.

Gender-based violence (GBV) affects one in three women worldwide, making it an urgent and important policy challenge. Using its global platform, the Wilson Center is convening discussions and publishing analysis not only on the ongoing crisis of GBV—made worse by the global COVID-19 pandemic—but also on the programs and policies that are beginning to make a difference.
