Infographic | Women Rising: Reaching gender equality in Mexico

In celebration of International Women's Day 2021, the Mexico Institute has created the following infographic to highlight these achievements, and inspire continued thought and discussion on how additional advances towards gender equality can be achieved. 

Over the past three decades, women in Mexico have made significant advances towards gender equality. While there is still much work to be done, women have made noteworthy advances in terms of closing the gender gap in tertiary education, labor force participation, and political leadership. In celebration of International Women's Day 2021, the Mexico Institute has created the following infographic to highlight these achievements, and inspire continued thought and discussion on how additional advances towards gender equality can be achieved.
