Infographic | 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly
Last month, 2000 participants from Arctic states convened in Reykjavik, Iceland for the 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly. The annual Assembly provides a forum for dialogue on the most salient issues facing the region, including the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the largest member state of the Arctic Council. The Rt. Hon. Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, was one of this year's featured speakers. Canada Institute Staff Intern Caroline Boda outlines the importance of the Assembly and how it fits into the larger picture of Arctic collaboration in a new infographic.
